Unfortunately, I've got some bad news for you all. Kimi, a well-loved Dougiefied member and the subject of our Bring McFly to Kimi campaign, passed away on the 16th March 2008 after battling her illness in hospital for two days. There was nothing that the doctors could do about it. Her funeral took place on 23rd March.
Sadly, we never achieved our campaign goal, but we were so close, and we know that Kimi appreciated all of the effort that went into it. Thank you to every single person who supported the campaign - it meant a lot to her, to see so many people join forces to make her dream come true. The Bring McFly to Kimi campaign site will remain for as long as Dougie-Poynter.com is online, and will become a tribute to one of our most popular members, while actively continuing to support the Teenage Cancer Trust. Kimi was a beautiful person, inside and out, and made a lot of good friends over at Dougiefied. She'll never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, Kimberli Stine Mortensen. R.I.P Kimberli Stine MortensenKimi suffered from Leukemia. There are many more like her, teenagers, all over the world. If you would like to help fund research which could one day put a stop to things like this happening, please support Harry's marathon run for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

I'm sorry about the lack of updates. I've had a lot on my mind recently, and I've also become really behind on school work, so I've had to focus more on that instead of the site. When I'm back on track, I'll be adding all the recent photos and news again, so don't worry. I also apologise for the downtime between 26th - 28th March - the domain had to be renewed, but all has been sorted out now, and it seems as if we'll be around for another 2 years at least, for I have renewed the domain until March 2010! [Site] Downtime Reason (26th-28th March 2007)Because I don't have too much time to spend on this site at the moment, and would appreciate extra help, I'm looking or a co-web who'd be able to spend at least an hour a day on the site, forums and gallery, making sure the site is updated and everything is running smoothly. If you're interested, please read the criteria below and email your name, age and an example of your work to corinneREMOVETHIS@dougie-poynter.com with the subject line 'Co-Web', and I'll get back to you as soon as possible if you're successful. Co-Web Requirements - Must be interested in Dougie and McFly, of course. - Must be able to find reliable sources for news and photos, and be able to ask for permission and credit. - Must be aged between 16-20. - Can be male/female. - HTML skills necessary. - Knowledge of PHP, MySQL and popular scripts would be very useful. - Must be able to dedicate at least an hour a day to the site, forum and gallery. - Must be able to provide evidence of your web skills. If you have any further questions, please reply to the thread below: [Site] Looking for Co-Web

Dougie's blogs never fail to amuse me. Here's one he posted today: ![]() Popped our australian cherry (ouch) Hi yall, bottom end kid with the four strings here. Just wanted to say thanks to every one who came along to the show today and took part in the strange shouting bits for the album ( which is sounding wizard by the way). The show was killer and we all had a great time sweating and reeking of B.O. Hope you guys in england havent forgot about us just yet . We miss you guys more than Tom misses the good old days of me dressing up as Jaba The Hut and him as princess Lea in the golden bikini............(sighs) ooooooohhhhh to be young. Me and Haz Dog are back in the studio working on a song artisticly better than the mona lisa. Actualy its probably no better than a finger painting by a 3 year old. Dougie ![]() I'll give out a prize to the person who can spot the most spelling and grammar mistakes! (Really, I'm joking.) Emmeline uploaded some photos from the Asda Be Live! Welcome to the first and original fansite dedicated to the talented young musician, Dougie Poynter. The British-born 20 year old is best known as the bassist for McFly, who have been one of the most successful pop acts in the United Kingdom since 2004; over 3 years, they have achieved 9 #1 singles & 2 #1 albums. Their movie debut, Just My Luck, also starring Lindsay Lohan, was released in 2006. We hope you enjoy your visit, and return soon!
