The Saturdays’ Frankie Sandford and McFly’s Dougie are the hottest couple on the block
NOT since POSH & BECKS in their heyday has there been a young Brit showbiz couple both so hot at the same time.
But SATURDAYS sex bomb FRANKIE SANDFORD and her McFLY hunk DOUGIE POYNTER are the hot new couple on the block, dominating both categories despite tough competition.
Dougie blushed: “I guess we’re the Posh and Becks of Essex but I’m nowhere near as cool as him! But Frankie does look amazing.
“I have been working out lately too – my metabolism isn’t what it once was.”
Yeah, at 22 you’re getting on a bit, Dougie.

The photoshoot took place while McFly were in Madrid for the MySpace Session gig on December 2nd. From EXIF data, the photos are said to have been taken on December 1st, but other fansites state that they were taken on the 2nd, so if anyone knows the true date, do clarify it for me!

Here’s a short article on McFly’s upcoming album, which should be released in Spring next year:
McFly’s New Album “Will Blow You Away”
McFly’s Tom Fletcher has claimed the band’s next album “will blow you away”.
The four-piece have been recording songs for the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Radio:ACTIVE’ this year, which they have previously described as going in a “new direction”.
And now Fletcher has given a new update on the album’s progress, saying: “We spent a couple of weeks in Atlanta working with Dallas Austin and his awesome friends.
“We came up with some absolute tunes. The next album is gonna blow you away. [I] Can’t believe how awesome the songs are already.” Added Tom.
“Since then we’ve been home, getting in the mood for Christmas and catching up with friends. Apart from the odd car crash, it has been an amazing month.”
McFly are expected to release the album in Spring, 2010.

Dougie misses the Poynt with RATM campaign
Last night, ‘Killing In The Name’ by Rage Against In The Machine was confirmed as the 2009 Christmas number one, after a widely reported online campaign.
McFly’s Dougie Poynter was delighted to hear the news, tweeting “So happy Rage are number one.”
He went on to tell how he purchased the song SEVEN times from iTunes. Unfortunately, as stated on the ‘RATM For Christmas Number One’ group, you should only buy ONE copy of the song – any more will cancel out your purchase and it will not contribute towards the chart.
“THE OFFICIAL CHART COMPANY HAVE CONTACTED ME AND WOULD LIKE ME TO REMIND YOU ALL THAT ‘BULK’ PURCHASING WILL DISQUALIFY THAT ENTIRE PURCHASE YOU’VE MADE FROM THE CHART COUNT. SO PLEASE BE WARNED, WE DON’T WANT YOU TO WASTE YOUR CASH!”
